I am so excited and grateful to be chosen again this year as one of 25 finalist in the #snappedforacause photography contest to help raise money for The Mighty Acorn Foundation! Last year there were so many great entries, and I was honored to have taken home the 1st place grand prize! More importantly, I was able to raise $3,120 for the foundation and the amazing children it benefits! I love being able to use my passion for child and family photography to help such a remarkable cause!

The dress my little cutie is wearing in all of these pictures was sent to me by Matilda Jane Platinum clothing company along with these adorable teal shoes from Livie & Luca for us to photograph. The image you see above is our official contest entry image! As you can see, she was having a fabulous time modeling for me!  Now, for the important information of how to vote and donate!

Just click on this link: VOTE HERE  to donate any dollar amount between $1 and $1,000,000, and each dollar counts as one vote for the picture of my sassy girl! I can’t wait to see what incredible things we can do for these children who are so badly in need! Here are a few more images of my sweet Juliet modeling this gorgeous outfit just to make you smile. Now go donate and vote!

*If you aren’t familiar with the Mighty Acorn Foundation, it was created in 2013 by David and Denise DeMarchis who are the founders of the darling Matilda Jane Clothing line . The mission of the foundation is “to help rescue children living in unimaginable conditions,” and currently they are focusing their efforts mainly in the Kipsongo slums of Kitale, Kenya. “The Kipsongo Slums are home to several thousand children who live hopelessly day after day, searching for food, searching for love.  The Mighty Acorn Foundation is fighting to restore hearts, ignite dreams and empower the futures of children across the world.” (per their website)

Last year, the money raised by all of the participants of the contest funded an entirely brand new high school for these very deserving young people! Let’s all work together to see what we can accomplish for them this year!!
