Southern California dance photography ambassador team.
Dance photography is such a fun style to shoot! I love taking portraits both inside my Redondo Beach studio, and also outdoors all around the Los Angeles area.
Each year I accept a select number of Southern California dancers as members of my ambassador team, affectionately known as the #lwinksquad.
These incredible young dancers have the opportunity to come into the studio for a private fine art dance photography session. Wearing in both fashion dancewear styles along with custom designed dance dresses or skirts, we capture their passion for movement.
As I prepare for a new group of performers, let’s take a look at the stunning previous team who just finished up their year!
Lilah is currently training at Studio X in Rancho Cucamonga, California. She is quiet and softspoken, but her dance style is anything but.

Alexis is one of those perpetually happy people. She always has a bright and genuine smile on her face, and you can’t help but feel her joy for life. She has both taught at and competed for The Dance Factory in San Pedro, CA for many years.
She recently graduated from Palos Verdes High School and will be heading off to San Diego State University in the Fall.

This tiny powerhouse right here is Aleksi. While she is only nine years old, she competes at some of the highest levels with the Fusion Pro Team. Aleksi trains at Fusion Studios with locations in both Torrance and Rolling Hills, California.

If you’re looking for extreme dedication to getting it just right, then Bailey is your girl! I have never worked with a dancer before who wanted to try the same pose over and over so many times until she thought it was “good enough.” It’s a good thing she has so much energy!
Bailey is also currently competing as a member of the Fusion Pro Team in Torrance, CA.

I have photographed this beautiful young lady a few times over the past several years, and it was so fun to have her in my Redondo Beach portrait studio again! The lovely Mya is not only a super talented perforemer, but she is kind and generous too.
Her home studio, Epic Dance Studios is in Oklahoma City, but she is always up for a visit to our amazing southern California beaches.

If you’re looking for some serious sass and confidence, then miss Harlee right here is the one you want! She is definitely what I’d call “tiny but mighty,” and not afraid to try new things.
She is a really hard worker, and trains not only with Mather Dance Company in Placentia, CA but also with theCREW in North Hollywood.

My girl Aubrey is nothing short of extraordinary, and she made every pose during her photoshoot look so easy! Not only is she gifted, but she truly is the most loving and genuinely nice young lady.
She competed the past several years with Fusion Studios Pro Team, and was recently accepted into a very exclusive training program in Orange County, CA called The Space Training Program through The Space TV. This is a huge opportunity for her to learn at the highest level from dance instructors like Krista and Cory Miller.

Miss Tori killed it in this stunning pink dress above by Alora Safari during her Los Angeles dance shoot. Not only is she a spectacular dancer, but was also so supportive of all the other girls on the ambassador team.
Tori trains at JDI dance in Riverside, CA, and models for several brands like La Belle Rose, Purple Pixies, and Sugar Lulu.
